UPDATE: Warren returned to the game a few plays after suffering the initial injury.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Jaylen Warren was slow to get up in the third quarter of the team’s Week 11 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Warren appeared to suffer an ankle injury as it got stuck after he was tackled following a short completion from QB Mason Rudolph.

The Steelers are also down QB Aaron Rodgers, who suffered a left-hand injury at the end of the first half. Warren was attended to by trainers on the field and walked off the field with a slight limp while flanked by trainers.

Per Steelers senior director of communications, Burt Lauten, Warren suffered an ankle injury and is questionable to return.

Prior to exiting the game with an injury, Warren had 10 carries for 62 yards and two receptions for five yards. Kenneth Gainwell took over as the Steelers’ lead back, and it should lead to more opportunities for rookie third-round pick Kaleb Johnson if Warren can’t return soon. Warren missed the Steelers’ Week 4 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings with a knee injury.

Heading into today’s game, Warren had 474 rushing yards and 214 receiving yards and has been one of the focal points of Pittsburgh’s offense.
