A host of Premier League giants are in the hunt for Antoine Semenyo and are willing to pay around €60 million for the Bournemouth star.
According to Fichajes, Bournemouth are anticipating offers for Antoine Semenyo ahead of January. The likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham are all contemplating €60 million for the Ghanaian star, which may not be enough to lure him.
A host of top Premier League sides are still figuring out a new attacker for their side, with a wide player with versatile qualities firmly on their agenda. The attacker in question is Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo, who has impressed many suitors with his brilliant form since the start of the season.
The winger has versatile qualities that allow Andoni Iraola to use him in multiple front-three roles, as he could be a handful to some of the top teams in the Premier League. Manchester United are one of those interested in signing him, although there are doubts about whether they will prioritise a move.
They did sign Matheus Cunha in the same role as Semenyo plays, but the form of the in-demand Premier League attacker makes him a valuable target in the market. Hence, Manchester United, alongside Manchester City, Tottenham and Liverpool, are willing to fork out at least €60 million to test Bournemouth’s resolve.
Manchester City are in the market for a new winger, with recent links to Rodrygo Goes. If they get a sniff at Semenyo, he could be an answer to their wing depth, as Pep Guardiola could potentially use him on the right side, too.
Liverpool and Tottenham are in contention
Liverpool have Semenyop on their list of January targets, and might be prepared to pay big for the attacker if they can get an opportunity. Tottenham are also in the mix, and they have been in the market for a new attacker.
The idea that clubs are willing to fork out €60 million for the in-demand Premier League attacker may not resonate too well with Bournemouth. Having re-signed Semenyo until 2030, gives the Cherries plenty of leeway in negotiations, as currently they are in a big position to demand a significant fee, which could change the course of this saga.
