Detroit Lions injury report today vs. Eagles: Top offensive tackles good to go

PHILADELPHIA -- The Detroit Lions got some good news before facing the Philadelphia Eagles after a week filled with lengthy injury reports.

All seven Lions players who were still listed as questionable entering Sunday night are active. Top Lions offensive tackles Penei Sewell and Taylor Decker, cornerback Amik Robertson, tight end Brock Wright, wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa, and running backs Sione Vaki and Jacob Saylors are active.

Cornerback D.J. Reed, linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez, offensive lineman Miles Frazier and edge rusher Marcus Davenport were previously downgraded to out.

Cornerback Terrion Arnold (concussion), defensive lineman Quinton Jefferson, safety Kerby Joseph, running back Craig Reynolds, defensive lineman Mekhi Wingo and Kennedy are inactive. There are no true surprises on that list, as Arnold and Joseph were ruled out with the initial list of designations.

TeSlaa was added to the injury report on Saturday with an oblique injury. The Lions elevated receivers Tom Kennedy and Jackson Meeks from the practice squad on Saturday. But Kennedy is a healthy scratch, while Meeks is active and could help fill the depth at TE3 behind Wright and Ross Dwelley.

Wright being active after dealing with an ankle injury throughout the week is great news. Sam LaPorta was placed on injured reserve with a back injury, taking away the team’s second-leading receiver for at least the next four games.

Robertson’s status is also a sigh of relief. He popped up on the practice report with a hamstring injury on Thursday, but sounded convinced he was playing. The Lions are without Arnold, Reed and Joseph, three of their top secondary starters. Look for Robertson and Rock Ya-Sin to start at outside cornerback, with Arthur Maulet seeing slot snaps.

Philadelphia’s inactives are quarterback Sam Howell, running back A.J. Dillon, cornerback Mac McWilliams, offensive lineman Drew Kendall and defensive lineman Ty Robinson.
