Travis Kelce has done it yet again.
The Kansas City Chiefs‘ future Hall of Fame tight end added another franchise record to his impressive NFL resumé on Sunday, November 16. By catching a touchdown pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the fourth quarter of a tight and crucial game against the Denver Broncos, Kelce became the team’s all-time touchdown leader.
Kansas City announced the historic news via its official X account.
“The best TE ever just keeps getting better,” the Chiefs wrote. “Congrats, [Travis Kelce] on securing the most touchdowns in franchise history.”
Kelce surpassed running back Priest Holmes, the previous record holder with 83 total touchdowns. In third place is now tight end Tony Gonzalez, who finished his career with 76 TDs.

Kelce, now 36 years old, is playing in the final year of his contract with Kansas City in 2025. It is unclear what his plans are for the future, though several analysts have speculated that this season, Kelce’s 13th in the league, may be his last.
He has won three Super Bowl rings as a member of the Chiefs. He has earned 10 Pro Bowl nods and made an All-Pro team (first or second) seven times.
Kelce entered the game against the Broncos with 1,045 receptions, 12,691 receiving yards and 80 receiving TDs. He also boasts two rushing TDs and 15 ground yards on nine career carries.
Kelce had tallied nine catches for 91 yards and a score against Denver with approximately four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter of a tie game and could add to those totals before the conclusion of the contest.
