Real Madrid successfully host their first ever NFL game

Real Madrid hosted their first-ever National Football League game on Sunday evening as the Miami Dolphins defeated the Washington Commanders 16-13 at the Bernabeu.

There was a minute’s silence held for Paul Tagliabue, a former NFL commissioner who passed away on November 9.

The Bernabeu was packed, boasting an attendance of 78,610, and there were a number of Real Madrid players — past and present — who were at the game as well.

Antonio Rüdiger was at the game, as he is not away on international duty due to injury.

Zinedine Zidane was also seen accompanying Florentino Perez and Isabel Díaz Ayuso, the president of the Community of Madrid, in pictures leading up to the match.

Fenerbahçe midfielder and former Real Madrid player Marco Asensio was in attendance. A number of Atletico Madrid players like Antoine Griezmann and Koke were present, too.

There was also a Super Bowl-like halftime performance from Daddy Yankee and Bizarrap.
