PHILADELPH IA — Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson suffered a foot injury during the first quarter of Sunday night’s game against the Detroit Lions at Lincoln Financial Field and has been ruled questionable to return.
Johnson went into the medical tent after Philadelphia’s third drive and exited to the locker room with trainers by his side.
Johnson suffered an ankle injury in second quarter of the Eagles’ victory over the Green Bay Packers last week and didn’t come back into the game until the fourth quarter.
If Johnson doesn’t return against the Lions, Philadelphia’s struggling offense could reel badly. Backup Fred Johnson has replaced Lane Johnson at right tackle and could finish out the game.
