Sanders was not happy with his performance.
"I don't think I played good," he said. "I don't think I played good at all. I think it's a lot of things, you know, we need to look at, during the week and go and just get comfortable, even throwing routes, you know, with Jerry (Jeudy) and throwing routes with all those guys. So I think that was my first ball to him all year. But other than that, I just think overall we just got to go next week and understand so then we have a week to prepare stuff I like to do."
In the first half, Gabriel was 7-of-10 for 68 yards and a rating of 88.8.
Gabriel is in the concussion protocol and Stefanski said that Sanders would start against the Raiders next week, if Gabriel is not available.
Sanders is confident he can take his game to another level.
"If I'm able to get out there and have an opportunity, I know that I'll be able to take everything to a different level," he said. "Like I said, I still have the same confidence. I'm still me. I'll never go anywhere. You know, just going out there, seeing daylight, that's all I needed, you know, to see how they move out there. Playing against a great defense. You got guys from the Pro bowl out there, so it's like, it's exciting to see. Okay, this is what it's like? Alright. This is what it's like? I'm excited for it. So, you know, I just got to take this one and build on it."
No Touchdowns for Offense
The Browns offense did not score a touchdown in the game as the only touchdown was a 23-yard interception returned for a touchdown by linebacker Devin Bush. The Browns had the ball four times inside the Ravens 30 on offense and ended up kicking three field goals.
The offense had a total of just 187 yards, including just 81 yards passing. The Browns had just 10 first downs and were only 2-of-14 on third down.
Ten of the Browns 16 points were off of turnovers, including the only touchdown.
The most glaring opportunity missed was on a muffed punt by LaJohntay West, who mishandled a punt that was recovered by Grant Delpit on the Ravens six-yard line. After two runs for no yardage and an incomplete pass, the Browns settled for a short field goal.
