Philadelphia leads Detroit 13-6 at halftime

PHILADELPHIA. (WILX) - The Philadelphia Eagles lead the Detroit Lions 13-6 at halftime.

The Eagles received the opening kickoff and punted on their first drive. Philadelphia got it right back when Jordan Davis tipped a Jared Goff pass to Cooper DeJean for the interception.

Detroit would hold Philly to a field goal as the Eagles took a 3-0 lead. Both teams would then punt on their following drives.

The Lions thought about going for it on fourth down but instead took a delay of game, and Jack Fox put Philly back on its own 15-yard line.

The Eagles took that 3-0 lead to the second quarter and punted on their first drive. Detroit tried going for it on fourth down at midfield, and Jahmyr Gibbs was stuffed to turn it over on downs.

Philadelphia couldn’t turn it into anything and had to punt once again. Detroit got stopped for the second time in the quarter on fourth down, and the Lions turned it over on downs. Philly would be held to another field goal and extend its lead to 6-0.

Detroit would get on the board when Goff hit Jameson Williams, and he took it to the house for a 40-yard touchdown reception. Williams cost Detroit on the extra point with a 15-yard penalty, and Jake Bates missed the PAT to keep it tied at 6-6.

Philadelphia answered back on its next drive when Jalen Hurts punched it in on the one-yard line for the score. Philly took a 13-6 lead to halftime.

Detroit next hosts the New York Giants at 1 p.m. ET on Nov. 23.
