The team is scheduled to return to full training on Tuesday to prepare for Saturday’s fixture against Athletic Club.
However, several injured players are expected to report to the Ciutat Esportiva before that session in an attempt to speed up their recovery.

The young midfielder had already missed the match against Celta Vigo after feeling a sharp twinge in his adductor during the warm-up.

Barcelona desperately need him available because Frenkie de Jong is suspended, Gavi is out long-term, and Pedri remains doubtful with his recurring muscle problem.
This leaves the squad dangerously short of natural midfielders for the match on 22 November.
