The Miami Dolphins have become regular participants in the postseason. On Sunday, the Dolphins played in the NFL’s first-ever game in Madrid, Spain. Aside from the historical significance of the game, the game was a massive opportunity for the Dolphins to keep the positive momentum they’ve been building, as they entered the game 2-1 in their last three games
Miami got the win, defeating the Washington Commanders in overtime to keep thier playoff hopes alive. After the game, Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was asked if there was anywhere else he’d like to play internationally, and he had an extremely interesting response.
“Shoot, it’d be pretty cool to go play in Jerusalem. … That’d be sick,” Tagovailoa responded.

Jerusalem is an interesting response from Tagovailoa, especially considering the political tensions surrounding Israel and Palestine and that Jerusalem is in occupied Palestine
Fans reacted to Tua’s response on social media.
“Do the people in the comments not know that’s where Jesus had the last supper? Where his tomb is?” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Unintentionally the funniest player in the NFL,” another person added.
“Yall gonna try hating on him for this and making it political, he prolly said this cause he’s a follower of Christ,” someone else wrote.
It’ll be interesting to see if Tua gets any follow-up questions about his comment.
