CLEVELAND, OHIO (TheOBR.com) - Good morning, Cleveland Browns fans! Monday morning dawns with the Browns at 2-8 following the debut of QB Shedeur Sanders, but not all is lost. It is up to each of us whether we choose to wallow in a post-game negative stupor or try to look at the bright spots in the team's 23-16 loss to the noxious Ravens.
THE DAILY BLOVIATION
Personally, I'm going to start my day with positivity and optimism. It's not easy because, unlike most of you, I spent all my waking hours focused on the Browns and their fans. So, if I can do it, you can too! Like it or not, I'm going to try to be positive this morning.
Here are some things to be positive about...
BERNIE KOSAR IS SCHEDULED FOR A LIVER TRANSPLANT: As I write this, Browns icon Bernie Kosar is scheduled to be in surgery to receive a new liver. We're praying that everything goes well and our friend can continue spreading news of good cheer and positivity. You matter. He matters.
WE'RE WATCHING HISTORY BE MADE: Myles Garrett is indeed, as predicted, having the best year of his career. Yesterday, he sacked Lamar Jackson four times in an effort where the team's defense was almost able to overcome the Browns' putrid offense to secure a victory against the Ravens. Garrett leads the NFL with 15 sacks so far this season, and his ten sacks in three games tie a 41-year-old NFL mark. He's nearing the single-season sack record of 22.5 with seven games to play.
Myles Garrett is a Hall-of-Fame first ballot shoo-in and one of the best to ever play the position. You and I have a front-row seat to history.

Alright, after this, it starts getting tougher, but I'll keep going.
THE BROWNS OFFENSIVE COACHING STAFF DOES, IN FACT, KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING: After weeks of criticism, an unfortunate head injury to starting QB Dillon Gabriel led to rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders being inserted into the lineup. Sanders showed that he still needs a lot more fine-tuning before he should play, as some collegiate mistakes repeated themselves on the NFL stage. This justifies the team's decision not to put him front-and-center of the past few weeks, offering a boost of confidence that, in this respect at least, the team's offensive coaches recognized the work that still needs to be done and stuck to their guns.
BUT SANDERS FANS HAVE HOPE: The hope comes from some good passes in the team's final drive, as well as the built-in excuse that Sanders hasn't had any first-team reps as the team's coaching staff concentrated on Gabriel's game-by-game preparation. What I saw from Sanders was concerning, but there were glimpses of what might someday be.
CARSON SCHWESINGER LOOKS LIKE A HUGE FIND: Despite confusing nearly everyone when the selection was made, Andrew Berry has found an incredible player in rookie linebacker Carson Schwesinger. He was a game-changer on Sunday, involved everywhere, making tackles and intercepting a pass in the third quarter. It's not his fault that the offense couldn't capitalize on the turnover and convert it into points. He's been outstanding.
DRAFTNIKS REJOICE: I'm not sure how many times I have heard fans say that they "want the team to play well and improve but lose" as they angle for a top draft slot. This is what happened yesterday. The team needs a lot of help on the offensive line, the wide receiver room, and the most pressing issue, the quarterback position. Despite the lack of offensive talent, the team showed terrific fight throughout, but continues to be near the top of next year's draft. Andrew Berry knows exactly what he has to do.
SPECIAL TEAMS HAD A GOOD DAY: After coming under intense fire for their play in the first nine games, Bubba Ventrone's charges had a good day on Sunday. On a special teams unit with a high number of UDFAs and rookies, the team avoided miscues yesterday and took away a muffed kickoff, leading to a score. They also, arguably, should have been able to down a punt inside the one. I still think that was a bad call.
After a great defensive effort and a lot learned, the Browns still lost to the dreaded Ravens, 23-16. It's a game they would have won without the serious offensive issues. I'm not going to deny that fans will continue to tune out and be discouraged by the team's spot in the standings.
But I'm not going to let it ruin my day and my week. I'm not. There's some good to be found under the rubble, and we know a lot more today than we did yesterday.
Have a good one! GO BROWNS!

Dog 'Remarkably Unscathed' After Plunging 100ft Down Cliff Face After a Team Rescue - (goodnewsnetwork.org)
I recently sorted through my photos and discovered that I have over 400 pictures of my dog on my phone. I have even more of her late big brother.
Puppies are an infinite source of love and affection, even for humans who might not deserve it, and hearing that a pup survived a traumatic fall is nothing but good news.
