Shedeur Sanders' NFL debut in 10 pictures as Cleveland Browns man finally gets his chance

Shedeur Sanders made his NFL debut when coming in for the Cleveland Browns on Sunday after Dillon Gabriel went down with a concussion with the former Colorado QB having a rough debut

Shedeur Sanders made his NFL regular season debut on Sunday night, replacing Dillon Gabriel in a game he'll likely want to forget - with the Cleveland Browns suffering defeat.

Sanders entered the game when the Browns had been well in with a chance of defeating their AFC North rivals in the Baltimore Ravens, but he struggled mightily while failing to bring the team back after a Mark Andrews rushing touchdown.

The former Colorado man completed just 4 of 16 passes for no touchdowns and an interception, while missing on a few throws that he'll feel he should have made. Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski has already stated that Gabriel will return as the starter when he's available, after leaving the game with a concussion.

Speaking on his performance, Sanders said: "I don’t think I played good.

"I think it’s a lot of things we need to look at during the week… go and get comfortable, even throwing routes with Jerry [Jeudy] and all those guys. I think that was my first ball to him all year."

Mirror US Sports has collated 10 images from Sanders' debut performance against the Ravens.
