The Manhattan restaurant where New York Jets star Kris Boyd was shot outside has hit back at accusations they are not cooperating with police.
The New York Post reported on Sunday night that Boyd and two other Jets players left Sei Less moments before the shooting took place in Midtown Manhattan because the 'vibe' was off.
It also alleged that Sei Less has not been cooperating with the NYPD and refused to give them any security footage.
Boyd, 29, is still in critical but stable condition at Bellevue Hospital after he was shot twice in the abdomen just after 2am on Sunday morning.
In a statement provided to Daily Mail, a spokesperson for Sei Less said: 'The altercation involving Kris Boyd occurred outside our establishment and after the restaurant had closed.
'Since the onset of the police investigation, we have been fully cooperative with law enforcement and shared the appropriate security footage to assist their inquiry.
'The safety of our customers and employees is of utmost importance and we take tremendous pride in having cultivated a safe and welcoming dining environment for all.'
