**JACKSONVILLE** - The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed S Juan Thornhill to the practice squad, the team announced today.
Thornhill was originally drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the second round (63rd overall) of the 2019 NFL draft. He spent four seasons with the Chiefs (2019-22) before spending time with the Cleveland Browns (2023-24) and Pittsburgh Steelers (2025). In 96 career games (75 starts), Thornhill has totaled 370 tackles, 25 passes defensed, eight interceptions, seven quarterback hits, seven tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble, one touchdown and 1.0 sack. Thornhill is a two-time Super Bowl champion (Super Bowl LIV and LVII) and has played in 10 postseason games (seven starts) where he logged 32 tackles (one for loss) and 10 passes defensed.
A native of Altavista, Va., Thornhill played collegiately at the University of Virginia (2015-18) and registered 208 tackles, 26 passes defensed, 13 interceptions, 1.5 sacks and one forced fumble.
