NBA star Cade Cunningham signs lucrative long-term Nike deal

Cade Cunningham has quietly become one of the NBA‘s best players. Although many in the basketball world aren’t giving him the credit he deserves, Cunningham has started the 2025-26 NBA season impressively. And the people that matter have taken notice.

Cunningham has led the Detroit Pistons to an 11-2 start this season. They are currently the best team in the Eastern Conference, and a high seed appears to be their goal. Success on the court breeds success off of it, and Cade is now experiencing that, with a new Nike deal.

“Detroit Pistons superstar Cade Cunningham has reached a new six-year endorsement agreement to re-sign with Nike and will receive his own signature shoe with the brand, his representatives at Excel Sports Management told ESPN,” Shams Charania reported. “His signature shoe is expected to debut in 2026-27.

“Cunningham becomes the sixth active NBA player to have a signature shoe deal with Nike, joining LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Ja Morant, Devin Booker, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.”

A signature shoe makes this a very lucrative deal, and it seems Cunningham is all set for the leap to superstardom this year. He is averaging 27.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 9.9 assists per game. Another All-Star nod seems like all but a given. It’s a good time to be Cade.
