Is Joel Embiid playing tonight vs. Clippers? 76ers star remains sidelined

Joel Embiid’s stint on the sideline will continue on Monday night against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Philadelphia 76ers star center has officially been ruled out of the contest against L.A. as he continues to deal with right knee soreness.

Joel Embiid will remain on the sideline against the Clippers

The contest against the Clippers will be the fourth consecutive game missed for Embiid, who first experienced soreness in his right knee during shootaround prior to Philadelphia’s game against the Boston Celtics last week.

Imaging was done on the knee and no structural damage was found, but it’s clearly still bothering the big man.

On the season, Embiid has appeared in six games for Philadelphia and posted averages of 19.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.5 blocks in 23.3 minutes per performance.
