Liverpool are back in Premier League action this weekend following the international break

Liverpool won the Premier League title last season under the guidance of Arne Slot. However, they have made a slow start to the current campaign. They find themselves sat in a disappointing 8th place in the table after their first 11 fixtures.

The Reds lost 3-0 away at Manchester City last time out before the international break at the Etihad Stadium. They are back in action this Saturday afternoon with a home clash against Nottingham Forest. Here is a look at a prediction for their next five matches in all competitions...

Liverpool’s final three matches in November prediction

Nottingham Forest (H), Premier League, 22.11.25: Liverpool take on a Nottingham Forest side who have struggled for results so far this term. They are in the drop zone along with West Ham and Wolves and have recently turned to ex-Everton man Sean Dyche as their manager. Despite winning 3-1 against Leeds United in their last game, Slot’s men should have too much for them this weekend. Prediction: 3-1

PSV (H), Champions League, 26.11.25: PSV are flying high at the top of the Eredivisie table and should be in confident mood. They are three points clear of Slot’s former club Feyenoord at the summit and have lost only one of their first 12 league matches. The Dutch side have won only one of their first four Champions League clashes though and the Reds should beat them if they play to their best. Prediction: 2-0

West Ham (A), Premier League, 30.11.25: West Ham are in the bottom three after a tough spell. However, they have won their last two games on the spin against Newcastle United and Burnley at home under new head coach Nuno Espirito Santo, who was picked as their replacement for Graham Potter. For that reason, they may be a tricky test for Liverpool and may snatch a draw at the London Stadium. Liverpool’s away form has been particularly poor this season. Prediction: 2-2

Liverpool’s first two December games prediction

Sunderland (H), Premier League, 3.12.25: Sunderland have adapted well to life in the top flight under the guidance of Regis Le Bris following their promotion from the Championship back in May after they beat Sheffield United 2-1 in the play-off final a Wembley. The Black Cats are suprisingly in the top four and drew 2-2 with league leaders Arsenal before the international break at the Stadium of Light. They will be in good spirits and Liverpool will need to be wary of them. However, the North East outfit will surely run out of steam at some point. Prediction: 2-1

Leeds United (A), Premier League, 6.12.25: Leeds went up along with Sunderland and won the second tier title ahead of Burnley. The Whites were beaten by Nottingham Forest in their last match and are starting to struggle for points as pressure starts to grow on Daniel Farke. They will be nervously looking over their shoulder right now and Liverpool can heap more misery on them on 6th December at Elland Road. Prediction: 1-3
