Legendary Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw was noticeably absent from the FOX pregame show in an uncharacteristic absence, but all is fine with the Hall of Fame.
Bradshaw, 77, is a fixture on FOX NFL Sunday, but his absence from the Week 11 coverage rose some alarms.
However, Bradshaw took to Instagram to state that he is okay.
“Just incase you notice, won’t be on Fox today. Just have a cold. All good,” Bradshaw wrote on Instagram.
Curt Menefee, the host of the show, noted Bradshaw’s absence and continued the show alongside Michael Strahan and Howie Long.
“You may notice there is Howie Long [and] Michael Strahan [and that] Terry Bradshaw is not with us,” Menefee said. “He came to work sick this morning. So he decided to go home not feeling well. We send him our love.”
Bradshaw showed up but was sick and decided to go home before the broadcast began. He is expected to return next week as long as he recovers from the cold.
Bradshaw has dealt with health struggles in the past, including a bout with bladder cancer in 2021 and Merkel cell skin cancer in 2022.
He has been a fixture on the show since its inception. This is his 32nd straight season on the broadcast.
