Manchester United are currently seventh in the Premier League table, with 18 points from 11 games.

Ruben Amorim will be desperate to get back into the Premier League after going five games unbeaten with Manchester United winning three of their last five matches. It pushed United to just one point off the top four places in the league, and seventh, ahead of the likes of Liverpool, Bournemouth and Newcastle.

If United can win their next game against Everton on Monday night, it could take them up to third in the league table, just behind Man City and Arsenal, who find themselves battling for the Premier League title yet again.

The Red Devils’ upcoming fixtures give them a fantastic chance to keep their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League alive, with the best team they have in their next five games currently sitting in ninth place.

Predicting Man United’s next five games

We decided to predict Amorim’s side’s next five games to see just how high up the table they could push, and if they could even challenge the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City at the top of the table.

Man United vs Everton (November 24) - WIN

Firstly, United will face off against one of their former managers, David Moyes, and should be the favourites going into Monday’s game. Everton have won just one of their last four matches under Moyes, and will surely find it tough making a trip to a hostile Old Trafford. So, we have United winning their next game against the Toffees.

Crystal Palace vs Man United (November 30) - LOSS

The next game after Everton for United is a tough trip to Selhurst Park to play against a Palace side who are unbeaten in their last four matches in all competitions. One of those games was a 3-0 win against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup, and it’s fair to say Liverpool aren’t at their best, but any team that wins against the Champions is going to cause problems for United. They have also enjoyed success against the Red Devils in recent seasons.

Man United vs West Ham (December 4) - WIN

This one feels fairly simple, as West Ham haven’t been good this season under Nuno Espirito Santo. They find themselves in a real relegation scrap, and Man United should have more than enough quality to beat them, especially at Old Trafford. The Hammers are improving but United are looking their best since Amorim joined.

Wolves vs Man United (December 8) - WIN

Wolves recently appointed Rob Edwards as their new manager to replace Vitor Pereira, who they sacked before the international break. They are yet to win a match this season in the Premier League and sit at the bottom of the league. This should be a fairly routine win for United, despite the game being at Molineux.

Man United vs Bournemouth (December 15) - DRAW

Getting closer to Christmas, Man United will welcome Bournemouth to Old Trafford in what could be a fantastic game. The Cherries have dropped off in form recently, losing their last two games to Aston Villa and Man City. However, they are still strong, and so will likely cause United some issues, so we’ve gone with a draw.

Points tally over 5 games: 10

Our prediction would leave United on 28 points after 16 matches, which is six points better than this time last season, and more importantly, could be enough to have Man United in fourth place, which Amorim would be delighted with.
