Clippers $30 Million Star Wing to Miss Multiple Months with New Injury

The hits just keep coming for the beleaguered L.A. Clippers.

After L.A. announced that three-time All-Star shooting guard Bradley Beal would be out for the rest of the season with a left hip fracture just last week, the Clippers will now be without one of their best wing defenders through possibly the rest of 2025.

Sources inform ESPN’s Shams Charania that Derrick Jones Jr. sprained the MCL in his left knee during a 121-118 loss Sunday to the Boston Celtics. L.A. intends to reassess the veteran swingman in the next six weeks, which would place a possible return around the start of January at the absolute earliest.
