Grayson Allen ruled out for Suns matchup against the Trail Blazers

Grayson Allen will miss his second game in a row on Tuesday when the Phoenix Suns take on the Portland Trail Blazers.

Allen suffered an injury to his right hamstring on Thursday in a blowout win over the Indiana Pacers and sat out against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday.

Allen and Jalen Green, who is also dealing with a right hamstring injury, will both miss the Tuesday matchup in Portland, while two-way guard Koby Brea will be with the Valley Suns in the G League and unavailable to the NBA club.

For the Trail Blazers, they will be without Scoot Henderson (left hamstring), Damian Lillard (left Achilles tendon), Matisse Thybulle (left thumb) and Blake Wesley (right foot).

Guard Jrue Holiday is doubtful with right calf soreness.

Tuesday will be the first matchup of the season between Portland and Phoenix.

The game will be televised on Peacock and can be heard on 98.7 and the Arizona Sports app with tip off at 9:00 p.m.
