Watch: Injured Cam Skattebo, New York Giants Get Physical with Judgment Day on Raw at MSG

Cam Skattebo was having a great season for the New York Giants. The rookie out of Arizona State was well on his way to his sixth straight game of over 60 rushing yards before a Zach Baun-tackle ended his season. Skattebo was carted off the field early on in the New York Giants’ loss against the Philadelphia Eagles, it later confirmed he had suffered a dislocated ankle, fractured fibula, and ruptured deltoid ligament. Skattebo underwent surgery shortly after as it was announced he will miss the rest of the 2026 season. However, as it turns out, it’s not keeping him from getting a little physical with wrestling’s most hated trio.

Skattebo, fellow rookie Abdul Carter, and other members of the Giants were ringside on Monday night for Raw at MSG (along with the Eagles’ Cooper DeJean and Big Dom DiSandro). It’s nothing new for WWE to have hometown athletes in attendance but it’s always a bit eyebrow-raising when the guys get involved in the action, especially mid-way through their team’s season. Such was the case for the Giants, who are coming off a tough loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

During a commercial break, Andrew Schulz was interviewed by Jackie Redmond and he put over Cam Skattebo before calling Dominik Mysterio a “nepo baby b***h” and a “never done nothing scumbag.” Mysterio took the mic to taunt Schulz before he turned to Skattebo to question when was the last time New York won anything meaningful. Mysterio shoved Schulz and then Skattebo came face-to-face with Mysterio. JD McDonagh taunted him, joking that the Giants were finally going to play defense this season before Skattebo shoved McDonagh hard. That led to Balor going after Skattebo as the rest of Judgment Day brawled with the Giants over the barricade before Mysterio and his cronies fled the scene.

Seeing the injured Cam Skattebo get physical on Raw at MSG probably wasn’t what Giants fans want to see given a misstep there could have caused Skattebo to potentially re-aggravate his injury. It seems like the Giants and WWE probably ensured that wouldn’t be the case but freak accidents, like the one that led to Skattebo’s injury in the first place, do happen. That all being said, the Giants defended their home court as Judgment Day was sent packing. It might be the biggest victory New York football has this season…
