Report: Chelsea ace makes transfer decision ahead of January window amid difficult loan

Nicolas Jackson has no intention of cutting his Bayern Munich loan move short in order to find another permanent move in January according to reports.

Jackson joined Bayern on a season long loan on deadline day in the summer, with an obligation to buy if he makes a certain amount of appearances, believed to be 40.

The Senegal international has scored three goals in 12 appearances in all competitions for the German Champions, with two of those coming in the Champions League.

Nicolas Jackson not planning to cut Bayern Munich loan short

Jackson has played as both the main striker and as a number ten so far this season, but of the 12 appearances he’s made, only five of those have been starts.

It’s been reported Bayern currently have no intention of activating the obligation to sign Jackson, thought to be £56.2m, having already paid a £14.3m loan fee.

There have been reports suggesting the 24-year-old could look to cut his loan short in January in order to find another permanent move.

However, The Standard have reported Jackson isn’t looking to do that, and intends to spend the season in Germany.

It therefore looks like the Blues will have to find Jackson a permanent suitor in the summer, with all bridges seemingly burnt with Chelsea.

Emmanuel Emegha set to join Chelsea

Any route back for the former Villarreal man at Chelsea were seemingly closed with the signing of Strasbourg striker Emmanuel Emegha.

Emegha has penned a seven year contract at Stamford Bridge, and will join next summer to compete with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap.

The 22-year-old scored 14 goals in Ligue 1 last season, and Chelsea are said to believe Emegha has greater potential than Jackson.

Emegha made his Dutch debut in the recent 1-1 draw against Poland, and will provide another different attacking option to the ones Enzo Maresca already has at his disposal.
