Everton are showing an interest in Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee ahead of the January transfer window.
Everton News exclusively revealed last month that David Moyes is weighing up a move for Joshua Zirkzee as he looks to upgrade on his current forward options.
Zirkzee is keen to leave for another Premier League club as he’s been handed just 82 minutes of Premier League football this season.
That said, it looked like a fairly straightforward deal to do for Everton, however, a fresh Manchester United development may now scupper those plans.

Everton could miss out on Joshua Zirkzee after Benjamin Sesko development
Everton are in desperate need of a new centre-forward this winter as Thierno Barry and Beto just haven’t delivered.
Tim Sherwood believes Barry and Beto are holding the Toffees back and brutally admitted that they’re simply not good enough.
Zirkzee is viewed as a serious target, however, Man United may now be forced to keep the Netherlands international.
That’s because Benjamin Sesko has just suffered a knee injury, which is set to rule him out for about a month.

Zirkzee will surely now get his chance in Sesko’s absence, and if he impresses, Amorim is unlikely to sanction his sale in January.
Toffees scouts may have to look elsewhere.
Everton could turn to Troy Parrott
With Zirkzee now looking unlikely, Everton could turn their attention to AZ Alkmaar and Republic of Ireland striker Troy Parrott.
Everton scouts watched Parrott against Portugal last week, and he certainly would’ve left a big impression, netting a brace.
Seamus Coleman is a big fan of Parrott and believes in his quality, so perhaps he’ll put in a good word to Everton’s recruitment team.
Other potential targets include Ivan Toney and Franculino Dju, although the former has been deemed unlikely by Alan Myers.
Midtjylland also have no intention of selling Dju, so at the moment, Parrott looks like the obvious first-choice striking target.
