Juventus are now considering the unthinkable possibility of selling Kenan Yildiz unless they can turn around the current contract impasse.

CaughtOffside report that contract renewal talks between Yildiz and Juventus have broken down.

Yildiz is demanding €6 million per year, which the Bianconeri have no intention of paying.

As a result, contract talks have been put on hold.

Yildiz to Chelsea?

The report states that Juventus are determined to keep hold of their star man but also are beginning to consider an unthinkable sale if an agreement can't be reached soon.

Juventus would demand at least €100 million to sell.

This represents good news for Chelsea, who already are planning to make a new big-money offer for Yildiz in 2026.

Indeed, it is widely reported that the Turkey star is their top transfer target for next year. Arsenal and Real madrid have also been linked.

Yildiz has emerged over the last year or so as one of the most exciting young talents in Europe.

The teenager has long been tipped to become a superstar. Juve beat Barcelona to his signature as a 16-year-old in the summer of 2022 when his contract at Bayern Munich expired.

At the time this was considered as a huge coup for a player seen as one of the best in the world at his age group.

Yildiz initially played with Juventus’ Under-19s and Next Gen team in Serie C, but broke into the first team setup midway through 2023-24.

Last season, Yildiz scored 12 goals and made nine assists in all competitions.

Yildiz has already been compared to Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero, who was his idol as a kid.

Like the 2006 World Cup winner, Yildiz loves to cut in from the left and boasts wonderful control, technique and the ability to beat a man and unleash a shot in on goal.

He even celebrates in the same way as Del Piero did, sticking out his tongue when he scores. The pair have developed something of a bromance together.

Yildiz has been capped 25 times by Tukey, scoring five goals and playing at Euro 2024.

This season, Yildiz has struggled a bit more and he has gone 10 games without scoring or assisting.
