Liverpool have been given a three-man shortlist to replace Mohamed Salah.
Ex-Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler believes that the Reds have a trio of potential successors to Mohamed Salah in their sights, including one from arch-rivals Everton.
Salah was a key figure in Arne Slot's team last season, helping them clinch the Premier League title with an impressive tally of 34 goals and 23 assists in 52 appearances across all competitions.
However, this season has seen a dip in his form, with the 33-year-old managing just five goals and three assists in 16 matches so far.
Liverpool's recent slump has raised many eyebrows, with Salah among those facing scrutiny.
The winger's performances have been underwhelming since he inked a new deal ahead of the current season.
His contract was due to end before the start of the 2025/26 Premier League season, but he extended his stay at Anfield.
With Salah's contract set to expire in summer 2027, Liverpool are reportedly eyeing several players as potential replacements for when he eventually departs.

Liverpool have been linked with a move for Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo.
Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo, who has a £65m release clause that becomes active in January, is frequently mentioned as a possible successor to Salah at Anfield. He has continued to impress for Andoni Iraola's side this season.
Ex-Liverpool forward, Fowler, isn't shocked to see the Ghanaian star being linked with a move to Anfield given his stellar performances this season, and he's also excited about the potential transfer of Iliman Ndiaye from Everton.

Speaking with Adventure Gamers, Fowler said: "I saw Liverpool were linked with Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo. Yakuba Minteh has been very good for Brighton and that's the beauty of the Premier League.

"If you've got a player who's playing well and performing, you're going to get linked with other clubs. Would Brighton want him to go? No.
"Bournemouth won't want Semenyo to leave, and Everton won't want Ndiaye to leave either. Salah's not going to be around forever, even though he's just signed a new contract.
"But anyone who Liverpool think can fit that bill, they're going to try and sign them."
