Official: Two Barcelona players start for Spain against Turkey

The Spanish national team play their final game of 2025 later tonight when they take on Turkey at Estadio La Cartuja in Seville in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture.

Ahead of kickoff, the La Roja manager, Luis de la Fuente, has announced the starting lineup, with two FC Barcelona stars featuring in the team.

Much like the game against Georgia last week, Pau Cubarsi starts once again at the heart of the Spain defence against Turkey.

Meanwhile, Dani Olmo, who has not had the best of seasons so far, has been handed a start in the attacking trident, alongside Yeremay and Mikel Oyarzabal.

Olmo steps into the team in place of his Barcelona teammate, Ferran Torres, who started in the game against Georgia and scored a goal as well.

Meanwhile, Fermin Lopez finds himself on the bench once again, but will hope to get some minutes later on in the game in Seville.

Lamine Yamal and Pedri, both of whom are guaranteed starters for Spain, are not with the squad this month, as they are recovering from their respective physical problems.
