Keegan Murray Closing In On Season Debut

Update: 4:30 p.m.

Keegan Murray is expected to make his season debut on Thursday when the Sacramento Kings take on the Memphis Grizzlies.

From Earlier Article:

Sacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray has been assigned to the Stockton Kings as his return to the Kings inches closer. A thumb injury in October forced him into surgery before the season began.

Murray has been cleared for 5 on 5 contact and plans to join the Kings in Oklahoma City for the game against the Thunder Wednesday. He might return to the floor during the Kings road trip.

It was announced on October 12 that Murray had a torn ulnar collateral ligament of the left thumb that he would have surgery on to fix. He was expected to miss 4-6 weeks. Nov. 23 will be the six-week mark.

The Kings, of course, desperately need him back as they don’t have a lot of depth in the front court.

Hurry back to the unintentional tank, Keegan! Hopefully there are a few shots available for you in the games.
