CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The NFL upholds its suspension of Ja’Marr Chase for one game for spitting on Jalen Ramsey during Sunday’s game in Pittsburgh, despite an appeal, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The NFL launched an investigation into Chase’s actions after FOX19 NOW posted video of the second in-game altercation between Chase and Ramsey.
The league determined the video showed enough evidence to warrant a one-game suspension, ESPN’s Adam Schefter said.

Chase’s suspension is in line with a similar case from earlier this season.
Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Jalen Carter got a one-game suspension for spitting on Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott during the league’s season-opening game on Sept. 4.
Carter was ejected from the game, and because the incident happened at the start of the 1st quarter, his suspension was counted for that game.
