Now, Fabrizio Romano has shared an update on the Bournemouth winger potentially moving during the upcoming winter transfer window.

He said: “Let’s see what’s going to happen in January.

“Maybe a 70%, maybe 60% for the January move, and we keep a 30%, 40% for the summer transfer window. But there is a possibility. There is a possibility for January because Antoine Semenyo has a release clause, valid in the January transfer window.

“It’s 60 million pounds plus five in add-ons. So this is the clause for the January transfer window.”

What Liverpool fans want to happen in January transfer window

Semenyo already has six goals and three assists in 11 Premier League matches so far this season.

He’s been a top performer at Bournemouth, but Liverpool fans’ transfer priorities are different.

While they appreciate Semenyo, they are more concerned about getting a new defensive midfielder and centre-back through the door.

Meanwhile, though he’s still only young, Trey Nyoni has shone for England’s U19s this month, winning three in three without conceding, and could be a potential option in midfield for Liverpool down the line.
