Packers’ Jayden Reed drops intriguing hint that has fans making theories

The Green Bay Packers could use some more good news after getting back on track with a 27-20 win last Sunday on the road against the New York Giants. What Green Bay and its fans surely would love to hear as soon as possible is the improvement of the health of some of the team’s injured players, including, of course, star wide receiver Jayden Reed.

The former Michigan State Spartans star wideout hasn’t seen action since Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season, which saw the Packers improve to 2-0 by defeating the Washington Commanders at Lambeau Field, 27-18. Reed played in that contest butexited early after suffering a collarbone injury. He later underwent surgery to address his shoulder and foot injuries and was placed on the injured reserve.

It remains uncertain when exactly Reed will return to action, but he got fans online buzzing about a possible return soon after dropping a cryptic post on social media.

Reed’s post has garnered nearly 400 comments and over 1,100 reposts at the time of this writing, with many believing it’s a sign that he’ll be available to play in Week 12 versus the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field.

Reed, who led Green Bay with 857 receiving yards to go with six touchdowns in the 2024 NFL season, remains on the injured reserve but could be on the practice field this week.

Speaking of Reed, the third-year wideout could return to practice on Wednesday after his two-and-a-half-month absence. LaFleur was asked Monday if the Packers will open the 21-day practice windows for any players this week and the head coach flashed a massive smile while saying, “I sure as heck hope so.” He added that the team will have a better idea about the availability of Reed and running back MarShawn Lloyd over the next two days.

With tight end Tucker Kraft done for the rest of the 2025 season, the Packers have relied more on the likes of Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson of late as Jordan Love’s top weapons downfield.
