Bucks’ Myles Turner makes off-the-court announcement on Tuesday

The Milwaukee Bucks are not playing this Wednesday, as they get their second day of rest after losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road on Monday, 118-106. With some time in his hands before getting back to action, Milwaukee big man Myles Turner is inviting everyone for a meet and greet this Wednesday at Bricks & Minifigs North Shore MKE.

“Pull Up On Me Tomorrow! Bring Your Kiddos,” the former Texas Longhorns star wrote in a post he shared via his Instagram Stories.

It’s not a secret that Turner is a big fan of Lego, and he’s sharing his love for it with anyone who’ll come over to the event.

“So while they were playing video games, I would always go to the back room and start building stuff and just make all my little imaginations and all this stuff come to real life,” Turner said in an interview in 2023 with SLAM about discovering his inclination toward Lego, while his friends were busy with video games. “ I just never really looked back. My dad’s the one who really introduced me to it. And I kind of took it and made it my own.”

Turner will be counted upon more by the Bucks amid Giannis Antetokounmpo’s absence

The Bucks, who have lost their last two games, arehit with a major injury blow, as superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is reportedly expected to miss up to two weeks because of a groin injury he suffered in the Cavs game.

As theBucks try to navigate their schedulewithout the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player, Turner and the other key players on Milwaukee’s rotation will be asked to carry a bigger load.

On the season, Turner is averaging 12.3 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.7 blocks while shooting 43.4 percent from behind the arc.
