Liverpool FC have confirmed a landmark commercial partnership with digital payments giant PayPal, marking the first time the company has joined forces with a Premier League club.
The multi-year global agreement will see PayPal become the Reds’ official digital payments partner, further strengthening the club’s commercial portfolio under the stewardship of chief commercial officer Ben Latty.
With over 400 million active accounts spanning 200 markets worldwide and supporting transactions in 25 currencies, PayPal brings decades of expertise in secure and flexible payment solutions to Anfield. The partnership promises to revolutionise the matchday and online shopping experience for Liverpool supporters across the globe
The collaboration includes PayPal+, the company’s brand-new free loyalty programme, which will allow Liverpool fans to earn reward points when making matchday purchases, whether buying tickets, merchandise, or food and beverages at Anfield .
Already available as a payment option across Liverpool’s digital platforms, PayPal will now become the club’s preferred digital payment method.
As part of the enhanced integration, PayPal branding will feature more prominently on checkout and payment screens across the club’s e-commerce and All Red platforms, making transactions faster, more secure, and more convenient for supporters. PayPal branding will also appear at Anfield.
