Kroos talks about Vinicius’ attitude: “I often told him to stop”

Real Madrid legend Toni Kroos talked to the press in an Icon League event in Germany, where he talked about the controversy around Vinicius Junior and his attitude.

”I often told him to stop, because it felt like the whole team was being affected by his behavior. Sometimes it can be a lot for opponents, referees, even rival fans to handle. As a team, we felt that things were turning against us because of that. I tried many times to calm him down on the pitch, just to keep him focused, because he would lose it some times. I told him over and over: “Vini, you’re too good. You don’t need all of this,“ said Kroos.

Vinicius continues to be in the spotlight, even more so after his conflict with Xabi Alonso during the last El Clásico against Barcelona, where he stormed out of the field after being substituted.
