The Pittsburgh Steelers’ Week 12 matchup against the Chicago Bears carries some intrigue if Aaron Rodgers is able to play through his wrist injury, but it’s not enough to overcome the Kansas City Chiefs versus Indianapolis Colts game in the same time slot.
Steelers-Bears will only be available in local TV markets, per 506 Sports. The Steelers game will be available to the blue regions in the map below.
If you are in a region that is somewhat close to the Great Lakes, chances are pretty good you can turn on CBS and watch Steelers-Bears from the comfort of your own home. If not, you might have to seek out your local sports bar.
Both the Colts-Chiefs and Steelers-Bears will be between teams with combined records of 13-7, but the Colts are still one of the hottest teams in the AFC, and the Chiefs have been a top draw in the league for almost a decade now.
The Bears will look to overcome their 2-15 record over the last 17 games against Aaron Rodgers on Sunday. They will do so with former No. 1 overall draft pick Caleb Williams at quarterback, and rookie head coach Ben Johnson. Johnson is one of the top offensive minds in the league, so he will provide a great test to a Steelers defense that has finally gotten its act together after a rough first two months of the season.
The Steelers and Bears have both allowed a ton of yards this year, but the Steelers have gotten that under control in recent weeks. It was just a couple weeks ago that the Bears allowed 42 points to a Bengals team that Pittsburgh just limited to 12, for what it’s worth. The Bears also have the eighth-worst scoring defense in the league, allowing 26.4 points per game.
The CBS broadcast will be called by Ian Eagle and J.J. Watt. The Steelers have had that combination several times already this season, and with great results.
