How Every Chelsea Player Performed in November International Break

Before we return to Premier League action let’s take a breather to look back over the past week and a half to discuss how each Chelsea player performed during the international break. While some were only dealing with friendlies, others were playing some of their final matches in the qualification stage, let’s take a look at how everyone did.

How Every Chelsea Player Did Over the November Break

----------------------------------------------------

### Estevao

The young attacker featured in both of Brazil’s friendlies, scoring in both. He netted his own goal in the first fixture against Senegal before scoring a crucial penalty in the draw with Tunisia. He created one big chance for his team with a total of five key passes across the two outings.

### Joao Pedro

The striker/attacking midfielder saw limited minutes as he was a substitute against Senegal. He totalled 25 minutes of action and didn’t look very effective despite having 12 touches. He didn’t feature at all in the second match.

This will be good news for Blues fans as the former Brighton man has been playing a lot of minutes at club level and is carrying an injury of some sort, getting a small runout to remain fit but not getting overly taxed is great news for this weekend.

### Andrey Santos

An unused substitute in both matches for the Selecao, was called up but has a difficult job of breaking into a two-man midfield.

### Filip Jorgensen

Called up by Denmark but still unable to shake the legendary Kasper Schmeichel. Filip Jorgensen is getting used to seeing out matches from the bench and likely won’t get another runout for his club until Cardiff City in December.

### Moises Caicedo

The Ecuadorian played the full 90 in both friendlies for his nation, the second of which happened late on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. He was a usual locomotive in the midfield, creating a big chance and playing five key passes while winning a large number of his ground duels.

The bad news is this will leave him pretty fatigued this weekend. It might be for the best if he sits out the match against Burnley with bigger problems on the horizon.

### Reece James

The right back started the more important of the two qualifiers and lasted the full 90 minutes against Serbia. He had an all-action performance from the right side, making a key pass, winning most of his ground duels, totalling a 98% passing accuracy, and making six ball recoveries.

With the Three Lions already locking down the top spot he was thankfully rested and benched for the win over Albania. It was a successful break for the Englishman all things considered.
