WWE icon and Dallas Cowboys superfan, “The Undertaker,” shared his thoughts on the team’s new-look defense. The Cowboys put up a strong performance against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday.
The “Lone Star” improved to 4-5-1 behind a 33-16 win at Allegiant Stadium. While the offense put up a show, which included 21 points in the second quarter, the defense dominated the Raiders’ QB Geno Smith and company.

The addition of Quinnen Williams brought a spark to Dallas’ defense. The Undertaker, also known as Mark Callaway, reflected on the revamped unit during Tuesday’s edition of NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football.”
“It was a drastic improvement,” The Undertaker said. “For a lifelong, die-hard Cowboys fan, it was just enough for us to hang onto like, Well, maybe. We hadn’t seen that kind of defense all year long.”
Dallas isn’t still in a good position to make the NFL playoffs, but Callaway believes they can be in the mix if the defense continues to play at this level.

“If we can get the defense to play that kind of football, they might be in the conversation for the playoffs at the end of the year,” The Undertaker added. “As a diehard Cowboys fan, that seems like a recurring theme every year, but we’ve got to hang on to our star.”
Williams had a strong debut with the Cowboys, racking up four tackles and 1.5 sacks. Fellow newcomer Logan Wilson posted two tackles. The Cowboys limited the Raiders to just 236 total yards and 4.5 yards per pass.

The challenge will be increasingly harder for the Cowboys in Week 12. They will have the chance to improve to 5-5-1 in a duel against the division leaders Philadelphia Eagles.
Philadelphia beat them in Week 1, 24-20, and Brian Schottenheimer and his players know they can’t afford to lose to the Eagles again.
