Everton are now turning their focus to the upcoming game in the Premier League against Manchester United, but the international break will have provided David Moyes some selection headaches.
Moyes was able to get back to winning ways ahead of the break, with Everton now needing to build on their recent win against Fulham.
The Toffees have become a much more stable club over the last 12 months under Moyes and The Friedkin Group.
However, there are still a number of issues which need to be ironed out on Merseyside.
Moyes has demanded more from his full-backs, with Vitalii Mykolenko and Jake O’Brien not exactly offering much aside from their defensive duties.
Ahead of the trip to Old Trafford on Monday evening, Moyes may have the perfect solution to his selection headache.

Seamus Coleman must start for Everton vs Manchester United
Everton News understands that Moyes is keen to sign Everton a new full-back in January having struggled to add much quality in that department over the summer.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Last time out, against Fulham, O’Brien was dropped from the starting XI as James Garner made another appearance at full-back – this time on the right side of the defence.
However, Seamus Coleman excelled for Ireland during both games over the latest international break as he started at right-back.
With O’Brien playing in his natural position in the middle of the defence, the 37-year-old showed his quality, which he has not been able to do this season under Moyes.
Where will Everton finish this season?
The Ireland manager admitted Moyes should be playing Coleman more frequently than he currently is.
Coleman was retained by the Blues this summer with a one-year deal to keep him around for the stadium move.
But he has shown during the international break that he still has a lot to offer Everton, who are struggling from a lack of quality in the right-back department.
Everton need a new long-term option at right-back
Moyes was desperate to keep Coleman at the club for this season as he knew how crucial his leadership skills would prove during a huge transition in Everton’s history.
Coleman has barely featured for Everton in the Premier League this season, but what he showed for Ireland over the recent break should make Moyes reconsider his thinking.

James McLean has hailed Coleman’s levels of professionalism, but it is his performances on the pitch which have shocked many in the game.
At the age of 37, Coleman clearly is not the long-term option that Everton need at right-back.
However, he has shown he’s still more than capable of starting at right-back at the age of 37.
