Chelsea’s goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen is considering a potential January exit from West London due to limited game time, according to [journalist Fabrizio Romano](https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1991172586664079634?t=OpAKj6iSOoNqv-YG7nSD0g&s=19).
Jorgensen joined Chelsea in the summer of 2024 from Villarreal, signing a seven-year contract with the Blues.
The 23-year-old made his Chelsea debut in the second game of the season against Servette in the UEFA Conference League last season.
His Premier League debut came in a comfortable 5-1 win at Southampton.
The Danish goalkeeper has endured limited game time at the capital since his arrival last summer, with Enzo Maresca retaining Robert Sanchez as his first choice.
Jorgensen won the Conference League with the Blues last summer and started in the 4-1 win over Real Betis in the final.
He also won the FIFA Club World Cup in America this summer, making just an appearance in the third group stage game against ES Tunis.
The 23-year-old has 12 clean sheets in 31 appearances for the West Londoners.
He has played only 84 minutes of Premier League football this campaign in the 2-1 loss to Manchester United after replacing Sanchez, who was sent off four minutes into the game.
Jorgensen represented Sweden at U-17 and U-19 levels before switching allegiance to Denmark in May 2021.
On 7 June 2025, he made his debut for the Denmark national team in a 2-1 friendly match win against Northern Ireland.
Having made just four appearances this season, the Danish man is keen on having more playing time before the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
