Game Preview: Raiders take on Cleveland Browns' dominant defense and rookie quarterback in Week …

After trading Kenny Pickett to the Raiders and Joe Flacco to the Bengals, the Browns turned to rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel as their starter in Week 5. In six starts, the third-round pick has thrown for 918 passing yards and a 6:2 touchdown to interception ratio. However, Gabriel's rookie campaign was interrupted when he suffered a concussion in last week's loss to the Ravens, placing him in concussion protocol. On Wednesday, Head Coach Kevin Stefanski announced that rookie Shedeur Sanders will take over under center. Sanders replaced Gabriel in the third quarter last week and finished the game 4-of-16 for 47 yards and one interception.

While the Browns offense continues to search for consistency, Cleveland's defense has been dominant. The unit leads the league in passing defense, allowing just 167.0 yards per game, and have piled up 32 sacks – 18 of which have come in their last four contests. At the heart of that surge is four-time All-Pro Myles Garrett, who reached 15 sacks for the third time in his career. Remarkably, Garrett hit that mark in only 10 games, making him the fastest player to record 15 sacks in a season since 2012.
