**Plans for Everton’s first display at Hill Dickinson Stadium have been revealed.**
Fan group The 1878s have been responsible for reintroducing an array of banners before home games during Goodison Park’s final years in operation.
Several iconic flags from the club’s terrace history were remade alongside new incarnations to pay tribute to Blues’ players both past and present.
Due to the size of the South Stand, The 1878s’ plans to roll out its first display at Hill Dickinson Stadium were pushed back to allow for fundraising efforts.
However the group has now confirmed that it is set to bring its trademark style to the stadium for Arsenal’s Premier League visit on Saturday, December 20.
The game was originally pushed back a day at broadcasters’ request but was switched back to its original date owing to the visitors’ fixture congestion.
“Our first display at our new home will be under the lights versus Arsenal on the 20th December,” said The 1878s.
“Thank you to Everton and to everyone who has donated for making this possible.
“We will be looking for volunteers to help in the Upper and Lower South stand on the night.
“Full details/instructions will be given at a later date but for now please DM us and let us know if you are available to help.
“Let’s make it feel like home.”
