Jacoby Brissett has finished as QB12 or better in fantasy in all five of his starts this year
Since this time last week, there has been no shortage of quarterback news that impacts the fantasy football outlook for Week 12.
From injuries to Aaron Rodgers, Michael Penix Jr., and Dillon Gabriel, to the New York Jets benching Justin Fields in favor of Tyrod Taylor, to Josh Allen reinserting his name in the MVP race with a six-touchdown performance, there has been a lot to digest.

Jacoby Brissett (vs. Jacksonville Jaguars)
Brissett set a new NFL regular season single-game record for completions (47) in the Cardinals’ Week 11 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
He racked up 23.9 fantasy points thanks to the pass-heavy game script, which Arizona went to after falling behind early. The 32-year-old has now scored 19 or more FPTS in all five of his starts this season.
Facing a Jaguars defense that has conceded the third-most fantasy points per week to opposing QBs this season, Brissett is worth a pick in Week 12.
Brock Purdy (vs. Carolina Panthers)
Purdy returned for the 49ers in Week 11 after a six-week absence and didn’t miss a beat. The fourth-year QB threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns in what was just his third start of the season.

Look for Purdy to keep that momentum rolling into Week 12, when he and the Niners host the Carolina Panthers.
The Panthers defense ranks well against opposing QBs, but Purdy is more than capable of having a big fantasy day at home. In eight games against quarterbacks not named Michael Penix Jr. and Justin Fields/Tyrod Taylor, Carolina has allowed 21 FPTS per week to opposing signal-callers.
Caleb Williams (vs. Pittsburgh Steelers)
Even though Williams didn’t throw or run for a touchdown in the Bears’ Week 11 win, the 2024 No. 1 overall pick once again led a fourth-quarter game-winning drive to put Chicago atop the NFC North at 7-3.
The second-year QB has had a volatile fantasy campaign, with four games over 24 FPTS and four below 13 FPTS.

Week 12 against the Steelers, who allow the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing QBs, presents a good opportunity for Williams to post a big score.
Sam Darnold (at Tennessee Titans)
Darnold threw four interceptions and scored a measly 8.3 fantasy points in Seattle’s Week 11 loss to the Rams. It makes sense to be low on the Seahawks QB in fantasy right now given he has scored a total of 14.2 FPTS across his last two games.

Darnold should be able to get back on track against the Titans, the sole remaining one-win team in the NFL, in Week 12. Prior to his two-game rut, Darnold scored 16+ FPTS in six of eight weeks.
