Speaking on the Royal Blue podcast, Myers has opened up on what he’s heard about the leadership on display from the new owners.
“From what I hear, I don’t know them well, but from what I hear, they are very steady and they take things in their stride – which is good,” said Myers.
“It is the sort of ownership I think we need. I think there is a lot to be pleased about.”
Moyes was delighted with Everton’s summer transfer window but there is still plenty of work needed to really get this squad in the right shape to push on.
However, it will please a lot of fans to hear that the owners are the people who Myers thinks can take the Toffees to where they aspire to be .
Everton set to explore more experienced January options
The summer saw Everton land a number of players who have arrived on Merseyside with little Premier League experience.
Of course, Jack Grealish was the outlier, but Tyler Dibling has struggled at Everton through a lack of opportunities under Moyes.
Everton need a new striker who they can rely on to provide them with goals.
How would you rate Everton’s 2025/26 season so far?
And Myers thinks that the Blues will be going into the market with ready-made players on their radar.
“I think what you will see in January is more experienced buys, if you like. I don’t think there is any more room for anything else at the moment,” said Myers.
“We need experience in front of goal and I think we need Premier League experience in front of goal.”
A huge January could lie ahead of Everton.
