The Chicago Bears continue to find ways to win games in close fashion, escaping Minnesota with another last-second walk-off victory over the Vikings on Sunday. With their 19-17 win, the Bears are now in sole possession of first place in the NFC North at 7-3, the first time that has been the case since the memorable 2018 season.
There were many positives to take away from this game, but also many frustrating aspects to this win as well. Starting with the good, it was nice to see the defense step up after some truly awful performances in recent weeks. The defense held the Vikings to 265 yards of offense and made life difficult for J.J. McCarthy, forcing him to throw two interceptions and only 150 yards. On the other side of things, the offense once again struggled as Caleb Williams threw for fewer than 200 yards and Ben Johnson seemed to lose a battle of football chess against Brian Flores. Despite this, the Bears came through when it mattered the most as Cairo Santos made the game-winning field goal at the end.
It wasn't a pretty win for the Bears on Sunday, which is reflected in the individual performances. Many Bears players stood out and came through in specific moments, but there weren't any dominant efforts that stood out in this one. Likewise, there were struggles all over the place at times for the Bears, but a few stood out more than others.
With all of that said, here are my winners and losers from the Bears' win over the Vikings in week 11.
