Houston Texans Offensive Line Gets Major Boost for Week 12

Houston Texans starting offensive lineman Ed Ingram suffered a knee sprain during the second quarter of Week 9 against the Denver Broncos and did not return for the remainder of the game. The right guard missed Week 10’s practice and did not play against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Ingram was limited during Week 11’s practice but was downgraded from questionable to out against the Tennessee Titans.

Ed Ingram was estimated as a full participant on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2, the Texans released their Week 12 injury report, and the starting right guard doesn’t carry an injury designation for Thursday Night Football. Therefore, Ingram will play against the Buffalo Bills after missing the previous two games due to a knee injury.

#Texans officially ruled out C.J. Stroud, Jalen Pitre, Jamal Hill. No injury designations for anyone else, including Ka’imi Fairbairn, Nico Collins Dalton Schultz, Azeez Al-Shaair, Ed Ingram @KPRC2 https://t.co/F2vM41HuBW pic.twitter.com/5GMUS8hc40

Tytus Howard suffered an apparent ankle/knee injury while playing right guard in Week 11 and exited for one snap, but still played 98.6% of offensive snaps. He was estimated as a limited participant on Monday and Tuesday and upgraded to a full participant on Wednesday. Howard also doesn’t carry an official injury designation and is good to go for Thursday’s game.
