Stefon Diggs and Cardi B announced the birth of their first child together in a sweet Instagram post on Wednesday.
Their child was rather fittingly bundled up in Patriots gear, as seen in a series of photos that Cardi B shared on her social media. Diggs was featured in one of the photos by her bedside in the hospital as they welcomed their first child. The two have reportedly been dating since October of last year.
“11/4,” Cardi B wrote in the caption, referring to their child's birth date, and added emojis of a teddy bear and a football.
“Me and my man are very supportive of each other. We're like in the same space in our careers,” Cardi B said of her relationship with Diggs in September.
Earlier in November, Diggs shared a sweet Instagram post celebrating his relationship with Cardi B while also seeming to show his gratitude for landing on the Patriots. “PAT NATION,” Diggs wrote in the caption, and included several pictures of him and Cardi B at Gilette Stadium.
Diggs, who signed a three-year deal with the Patriots last offseason, would appear to have plenty of reason to celebrate this winter. His Pats are currently tied for the best record in the AFC (9–2) and sit comfortably atop the division having won their last eight straight games. The 31-year-old has racked up three 100-plus receiving games in his debut season in New England and has been developing great chemistry with quarterback Drake Maye in a potential Super Bowl-contending campaign.
A franchise with as rich a history as the Patriots has no shortage of devoted fans, but it looks like they got one more this year.
