**JACKSONVILLE –** The Jaguars on Wednesday practiced at the Miller Electric Center.
Lawrence's high praise for wide receiver [Jakobi Meyers](/team/players-roster/jakobi-meyers/) continues.
Meyers, a seven-year veteran, was acquired in a Week 10 trade with the Las Vegas Raiders with the idea he could quickly be a reliable – and trusted – target for Lawrence. He has been just that, catching 8 passes for 105 yards in 2 games – including 5 receptions for 64 yards in a victory over the Los Angeles Chargers this past Sunday.
**He led the team in targets (6), receptions and receiving yards against the Chargers.**
> "He has done an awesome job," Lawrence said of Meyers. "The way he runs and moves, that's something I noticed right when he got here. I've seen him play a lot, too, but I like throwing to him. He's just an easy guy to throw to from a quarterback perspective.
"Just the way he moves, it seems very clear what he is going to do. That's something I really like. Then, he is smart too. He has picked up the offense really quickly for it being a pretty complicated offense and having to come in and play three, four days after getting here. And now he's played a few games with us, and he's done an awesome job.
**"I really give a lot of credit to him." …**
Lawrence on Wednesday reiterated what he said following Sunday's victory – that wearing a wristband with select play calls helped the offense get to the line of scrimmage more quickly.
Lawrence played without a wristband in the first nine games of the season after wearing one in his first four seasons.
