Short-handed Dallas couldn't string together consecutive wins for the first time this season, taking a 120-96 pounding on the road at the hands of the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night. Anthony Davis remained out with a calf strain, while fellow bigs Daniel Gafford (ankle) and Dereck Lively II (knee) were rested for injury management. Jaden Hardy came off the bench for 17 points in the late going, while Cooper Flagg and Brandon Williams each scored 15 points. Rookie Moussa Cissé grabbed 10 rebounds in his first career start.
Brunson, who has missed the last two games, leads New York with 28.0 points and 6.5 assists per game, while Towns averages 21.8 points and 12.7 rebounds, and Bridges nets 16.2 points on average.
