Erling Haaland is just a "big kid" behind the scenes, according to a Manchester City presenter. The Norwegian striker continues to fire in the goals this campaign.
Since he arrived in 2022, Haaland has been nothing short of a revelation. The 25-year-old arrived with a lofty reputation and surpassed it, setting a new Premier League record for goals in a single season in what was his first campaign on English soil.
Haaland has not stopped scoring, and this year already has 14 league goals to his name. He has added five in the Champions League. Faraaz "FG" Ghaffur, who works for City as a presenter, has now given fans a glimpse into what the 25-year-old is really like away from the cameras.
"But he's just a big kid. All he wants to do is have fun. He's very respectful to everyone. There are days at City where we are open to the media, and he is great with not just me but everybody else.
"Sometimes you have to think to yourself, 'Is this guy really doing what he's doing on a weekend and having nothing about anything negative?' He's a great guy. He's very funny as well. Unbelievable player." The YouTuber and Esports gamer also claims that Haaland is not done improving at City and could develop into an even deadlier goalscorer.
He added: "You know what's scary? I think he could do more. I think he will do more. His mentality last season, when I've seen him still scoring the goals, when everything was difficult. He was still being in there in the conversation,s and then you see the change this year.

"Haaland just seems like he's more relaxed. He's a YouTuber now. He is doing his side hustles and stuff and he's enjoying himself. If he carries on smiling, it could be dangerous.
"I think when I say do more it's not so much in terms of goalscoring, it is about what he's doing when he's got possession of the ball and off the ball. It's so much better this year already. He's so much better on the ball and he's involved in the link-up play."
Former City defender Joleon Lescott interjected: "Has he ever needed to do that though? Granted, he's got better on the ball 100 per cent. But he never needed to do them things when there was Kevin De Bruyne.
"It used to be, 'I just need to make that run.' Now there's no De Bruyne it's, 'We're closer in possession so I need to be tighter. I need to be closer to the build-up'. He's just recognising that."
