Many are tipping Arsenal to end their long Premier League title drought this season, but dropped points at Sunderland last time out and Manchester City’s resurgent form has caused pause for thought. Still, the Gunners’ recent record against their north London rivals is spotless, and they will be confident of a fourth straight win on Sunday.
Spurs will point to their away form, which is only matched by Arsenal so far this season, and will hope a depleted defence will offer opportunities as Thomas Frank looks for another statement away win after beating City in August.

Arsenal have been rocked by an injury to Gabriel, who has arguably been their most impressive performer this season. The centre-back picked up a groin injury while on Brazil duty and, according to the latest reports, may not return until January. That will see Cristhian Mosquera or Piero Hincapie step up into an already peerless back line.
There remain doubts over the fitness of Viktor Gyokeres and Riccardo Calafiori, while Gabriel Martinelli and Noni Madueke will be assessed ahead of the game. Kai Havertz has suffered a "setback", so he will again miss out.
Tottenham are hopeful that Mohammed Kudus will be fit to start after missing the draw with Manchester United, and captain Cristian Romero has allayed any fitness fears after playing for Argentina during the international break. Pape Matar Sarr skipped Senegal's second game during the international break after coming off against Brazil, but there is confidence that the issue is not serious. Lucas Bergvall withdrew from Sweden duty due to ongoing complications after his concussion.
Randal Kolo Muani will not be available after suffering a jaw injury against United, though it is understood not to require surgery, so there is a chance he could return before the end of the year. Elsewhere, Dominic Solanke, Dejan Kulusevski, Archie Gray, Ben Davies and Radu Dragusin are nearing returns but remain sidelined.

Arsenal, even without Gabriel, will be confident of shutting Spurs out and securing a victory to open up an 11-point gap over their neighbours. While Spurs can point to an impressive away record, built on an impressive defence and sturdy midfield, it is in attack where they are often lacking.
Mikel Arteta will look at the likes of Mathys Tel or Richarlison with little fear, while the likes of Bukayo Saka will believe he can add to his tally of two goals and four assists from his last four meetings.
